The New Romantic

The New Romantic follows college senior Blake Conway (Jessica Barden) who has romantic hopes for a journalism career as well as her love life. In denial about graduation and frustrated with the lack of chivalrous guys, she plans to become a sugar baby. She plans to document the experience and bag a journalism prize. Taking a moralistic standpoint, the process becomes a greater study of human nature, love and society as a whole for Blake who stumbles on some home truths too.
