Cardinal
Cardinal is a Canadian crime drama television series on CTV. The series is an adaptation of Giles Blunt‘s crime novels about police detectives John Cardinal (Billy Campbell) and Lise Delorme (Karine Vanasse) in the fictional city of Algonquin Bay.
Cardinal currently has three seasons (fourth season in production). The first season adapts the novel Forty Words for Sorrow. It focuses on the investigation of the murder of a young Native Canadian girl. The second season adapts Blunt’s third Cardinal novel, Blackfly Season. And the third adapts the novels By the Time You Read This and Crime Machine.
