A big-time Happy New Year to all for 2021!
A big-time Happy New Year to all for 2021!
We wanted to look back at this past year and thank all the clients, talent & incredible teams that rolled with us through 2020! This year is surely to be different than the last -but it’s hard to compare to what last year was like – as it implored us all by circumstance to take notice of what we may have taken for granted, and to appreciate what we have and to be mindful of what others do not.
We wanted to kick off the year with a little “How is RP adjusting to this global pandemic?”
Well, as 2021 begins and the world is still in a bit of uncertainty, we at Rolling Pictures North & South continue to move forward. Whether that be the slate of ongoing productions that we are handling with dailies and assisting offline editors, our in-house and remote colour, mix, and online sessions… our post-production workflows on features, television, documentary & animated just keep rolling!
Each individual that works at RP brings their own special X-Factor to the table in our ability to collaborate and support the Ontario film industry in post-production. Way to go team!
A few highlights
Our Director of Community Relations Robert Peace was the head judge of The Sault Film Festival where both RP’s own Hari Ramesh and Jade Robertson had films compete in!
Robert continues to make an impact in the north bringing business acumen and networking experience to bridge connections with Garden River First Nation, film productions & the arts community at large! Our CSC Jade has also been in talks to create a mini-documentary with the Electronic Recycling Association along with Greg Feir!
We have new shows that are launching this year as well as great one’s that are coming back! Sienna’s Sort Of, FUNNY BOY, GIRL, Guru Studio’s Pikwik and Big Blue are all available to stream in 2021.
With a new year comes new and interesting challenges, we can’t wait to see what’s next!
