What we were up to during #TIFF18 – Rolling Pictures at TIFF

It has been an eventful two weeks here at Rolling Pictures, with the annual Toronto International Film Festival in full swing. Not only did we open our doors to our friends involved in the festival but a film we’re a part of, “The Stone Speakers,” had its world premiere at #TIFF18. With TARO PR’s coordination, our space was used for press screenings and talent interviews. It was nothing short of spectacular, being in the middle of the excitement and energy coming from festival patrons and cinephiles alike. Perks of being neighbours with one of the biggest film festivals in North America 😉

We hosted “Mouthpiece” press screening before the festival began. Some of the press screenings that also took place in our theatre included two of TIFF’s special presentations and highly-anticipated films, “Vox Lux” and “The Sisters Brothers.”

Among our guests who came for their round of press interviews were “El Angel” director Luis Ortega, “Birds of Passage” director Cristina Gallego, and “Splinters” director Thom Fitzgerald and actor Sofia Banzhaf.

We’re glad to have accommodated all these great films in our studio and so lucky to be part of the festival. We can’t wait for next year!
