We are honoured to have provided post picture for Director Igor Drljaca’s film, The Stone Speakers. Our Senior Colour Grading Artist, Drake Conrad, had the pleasure of colouring the film which features present-day Bosnia-Herzegovina and its people’s attempts at building a livelihood in an otherwise stagnant economy. Tourism became one of its main source of income, transforming towns into unique destinations that showcases history, religion, politics and folklore.

In this film, Igor explores “the relationship between recent tourist sites and attempts to create competing national narratives in post-war Bosnia-Herzegovina.”

The Stone Speakers is having its world premiere on September 8th, 2018 at the Toronto International Film Festival. Following its TIFF premiere, The Stone Speakers will be screened at film festivals around Canada including Vancouver International Film Festival (VIFF).

Rolling Pictures is proud to have been part of an amazing film, helping these narratives come to life by capturing its sentiments through colour.

You can read more of Director Igor’s statement on the film here.
